Collection of simulation activities
Simulation 1: Mobilization of the patient
- Description
- Scenarios
This simulation scenario focuses on mobilizing a geriatric patient with a stroke (CVA). It is intended for 3rd-year General Nursing (AMG) students and aims to develop competencies related to the assessment and care of an elderly patient with a stroke.
The topic is part of the “Geriatrics and Specific Nursing” module.
The simulation involves three roles: the nurse, the patient, and the family member (the daughter), and it aims to ensure the correct application of mobilization measures and effective communication with the patient and the family.
Simulation 2: Caring for patient with hypoglycemia
- Description
- Scenarios
Simulation 3: OXYGEN THERAPY PATIENT CARE
- Description
- Scenarios
Simulation 4: Changing Clothes of the patient
- Description
- Scenarios
Simulation 5: Nutrition of The Patient
- Description
- Scenario
Feeding bedridden patients is crucial for maintaining overall health, promoting healing, and reducing the risk of infection. In this simulation video, our students performed a procedure designed to feed a bedridden patient. The video used simulation as a learning tool.
Simulation 6: Throat Culture
- Description
- Scenario
A throat swab is a diagnostic procedure used to identify infectious agents (bacteria, viruses, etc.) in the throat. In this simulation video, our students performed a designed procedure for obtaining a patient's throat swab properly. The video used simulation as a learning tool.
Simulation 7: Using a Nebulizer Device
- Description
- Scenario
A nebulizer is a device that converts medications into a vapor for respiratory illnesses, allowing the patient to inhale. The device must be hygienic before use, and the medication must be prepared according to physician instructions. In this simulation video, our students practiced a procedure designed to properly administer a nebulizer to a patient. The simulation was used as a learning tool.
Simulation 8: Acute Nursing
- Description
- Scenario
The simulation is intended to develop the students’ ability to provide care and perform systematic data collection, based on the 12 nursing problem areas, in a newly hospitalised patient. To respond to changes in the patient's health. To perform measuring expanded vital signs and reflect on the measured values and finally to act according to the ABCDE principles.
The simulation involves three roles, one as the patient and two roles as healthcare assistant students at the medical ward.
Simulation 9: Injection of vitamin B
- Description
